About Keith Folse
I'm Keith Folse, and through my books and presentations, I try to help both teachers and learners of English.
I've written more than 80 books about vocabulary, grammar, writing, reading, listening, and speaking, with millions sold in many countries and 4 different languages.
I have an M.A. and Ph.D. in language education and have a great deal of experience with best teaching and learning strategies based on research findings.
I've taught English in the U.S., Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Kuwait, and Japan, and I've done teacher training workshops in dozens of countries, from Argentina to Uzbekistan.
One of the reasons I'm a good teacher is that I know what it's like to try to learn a language. I've studied many languages, including Spanish (C2), French (B2), Arabic (A1), Malay (A1), Japanese (A2), and German (B2). In my own language classes, both face-to-face and online, I've learned a lot about what it's like to be a real language learner in a real classroom, and this has also helped me be a better teacher and a better writer of English books.
